| MANHASSET, N.Y. — Wireless phone supplier Nokia has launched an early access support program to further assist companies developing applications for Symbian OS-based smartphones, including the popular Series 60 Platform.
The Forum Nokia PRO Symbian Zone, created and managed in cooperation with Symbian, will enable advanced developer companies to have leading edge smartphone technology reference material at their fingertips, helping to rapidly create applications for next-generation devices. Forum Nokia PRO Symbian Zone members will benefit from reduced development time and costs as a result of close cooperation with Nokia and Symbian. They will receive updates of the latest Symbian OS Library for application developers, a newly developed resource containing the up-to-date Symbian OS API documentation.
Access to the Forum Nokia PRO Symbian Zone is free to Forum Nokia PRO member companies who sign a Symbian Affiliate Program license agreement through the Forum Nokia PRO site with Symbian.
